Binnies an RSK Group Company are looking for Electrical Engineers to join our @one Alliance. 

What will you be doing as our new Electrical Engineer?

As a talented and driven Electrical Engineer within our diverse and inclusive Engineering team, you’ll provide Electrical Engineering technical input to projects in Anglian Water region.

Key Responsibilities:

Production of Technical Deliverables

  • Prepare technical schedules, data sheets, and engineering calculations including hydraulic calculations, pump calculations, mass balance calculations, and RICS calculations.

  • Develop specifications for engineering subcontracts.

  • Work closely with the supply chain, performing technical bid analysis of their designs.

Electrical Engineering Design

  • Design electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment plants.

  • Develop control, monitoring, and telemetry systems.

  • Design instrumentation systems.

  • Create designs for main incoming electrical supply systems and electrical installation systems, including hazardous areas.

Health & Safety Excellence

  • Support the Electrical Discipline Head in promoting excellence in health and safety.

  • Demonstrate applied knowledge and skills to produce safe designs in accordance with CDM Regulations, standards, and accepted codes of practice.

Project Delivery:

  • Ensure all technical work is completed to the correct standards and specifications.

  • Adhere to the requirements of MAS (Management Assurance System) and challenge when necessary.

  • Maintain the quality and consistency of all process engineering technical documents.

  • Work with Senior Engineers, peers, and/or the Discipline Head to ensure technical deliverables are properly checked and approved.

A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours….

You'll have solid and strong experience in a project engineering environment and will hold a degree (or similar qualification) in a relevant Engineering discipline. With a strong electrical engineering design experience, preferably in water and wastewater treatment plants and a familiarity with DM Regulations, standards, and accepted codes of practice.  You have a keenness to work in a multi disciplined engineering team to work together to solve complex problems.
