About the Role:
Binnies UK, part of the RSK Group, is seeking Senior Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisors to join our team within the @one Alliance in the Peterborough region. This is a key role in promoting and maintaining a safe, healthy, and supportive working environment across all stages of project delivery – from pre-construction through to handover.

As a Senior HSW Advisor, you will provide expert advice, coaching, and guidance to project teams, ensuring compliance with the Alliance Management System (AMS). You will champion a positive safety culture through inspections, advisory visits, incident investigations, and delivery of HSW training in both classroom and digital environments. You will also play a vital role in promoting the @one Alliance's LIFE programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) site visits including inspections, advisory, and engagement visits, ensuring compliance with AMS and documenting findings via the Alliance reporting platform (M2i).

  • Support operational teams in developing and reinforcing positive safety behaviours aligned with the "Safer" element of the LIFE strategy.

  • Provide onsite guidance and support in implementing Behavioural Safety training and initiatives.

  • Engage with key stakeholders to identify behavioural needs and plan relevant interventions.

  • Promote open and effective communication across the Alliance to enhance HSW culture.

  • Assist in auditing and delivering the mandatory LIFE orientation programme.

  • Support the rollout of Toolbox Talks (TBTs), training sessions, and events related to Health, Behavioural Safety, and Wellbeing.

  • Contribute to organisational wellbeing through regular check-ins, briefings, and providing access to appropriate support and signposting.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience in construction or utilities within a Health & Safety advisory capacity.

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential).

  • Technician-level membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH) or higher.

  • CSCS Safety Professional Card.

  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety.

  • Working towards Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) is desirable.
