Job Description

  • Plan, design, review and prepare drawings & specifications
  • Authorities’ consultation and submission
  • Perform engineering calculations and analysis such as short circuit current, fault contribution to Grid network, motor starting and transients, harmonics, sizing of electrical equipment and cables, etc.
  • Able to lead a team of electrical and ICA engineers to perform the design works.
  • Meeting the Client to present the basis of designs and design philosophy
  • Resolve any technical difficulties & other problems that may arise

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of Water/Wastewater, Power Plant / Waste Management Facility’s electrical and automated control system design of large-scale power generation plant/WMF plant projects.
  • Shall have relevant experience in the planning and design of large-scale waste management or water treatment facilities
  • Experienced in extra high voltage to low voltage electrical distribution network designs, not limited to switchgears, transformers, motor control centres, distribution boards, control panels, emergency standby and black start power, neutral-ground reactors/resistors, cable and cable raceways, protection devices, meters, etc.
  • Experienced in Power plant/WMF balance of plant electrical network design.
  • Familiar with Singapore’s local codes of practice and regulatory requirements in extra high voltage/high voltage grid connection for electricity export.
  • Professional Engineer licensed with the PE Board Singapore and a Licensed Electrical Worker of at least grade 9 is an advantage.
